I've lived in upstat NY most of my life and never even knew about this until I read about it in the Post Standard and I myself and my roomate are both huge anime fanatics. Also how do you join? I'd love to help out and such, I don't have transportation except the bus and cabs but I'd love to do what I can to help promote anime here.
