The Comedy Team of +2 Comedy
+2 Comedy is a unique comedy trio unlike anything currently in the stand-up comedy world. This original form of stand-up comedy is created solely for nerds. Their comedy is on such topics as Star Wars, video games, comic books, Anime, D&D and the like. Their show, which can run from 30-90 minutes, consists of stand-up comedy as well as a Q &A with the audience where they answer questions like, “Could Boba Fett take the Cloverfield monster in a fight?” “Who is the best character to use Virtual Fighter?” and “What is the greatest movie trilogy of all time?” +2 comedy has preformed at the VGXPO in Philly as part of Wikicon, in Ohio at Anime Punch’s Armageddicon, in Baltimore for Otakon, Kotoricon and Zenkaikon as well as clubs across the country, so you won’t want to miss them!

Cosplayers the Movie
“Come see a showing of “Cosplayers” followed by a Q&A session with the cast and crew! “Cosplayers” is the story of Seth, a 28 year old cosplayer dealing with the increasing pressures of adulthood. The story follows himself and his friends through convention life, his relationships with fellow cosplayer Sarah and the boss’s daughter Natalie, and his not so normal working environment. This romantic comedy is sure to warm your heart as Seth’s journey takes him through creepy photographers, crazy montages, and the occasional bit of crossplay.
Written by lifelong friends Nathan Mellenthien and Frank Gritzmacher, “Cosplayers” has been three years in the making. Mellenthien and Gritzmacher dabbled in filmmaking throughout their lives and finally decided to produce “Cosplayers” as a full length feature film. This prompted the creation of non-for-profit film company Linkwise Productions, inc. Linkwise is dedicated to producing entertaining low budget films to benefit charities around the globe.
Anime Syracuse is the first showing of the film in the Western and Central New York area. The cast and crew will be available all weekend to sign autographs and sell both t-shirts and copies of the movie with 25% of proceeds going directly to Cystic Fibrosis Research!”

Vocal Guests:
Tristan MacAvery
Those of you lucky enough to come to our summer mini-con will be happy to know he’s back, and those of you who have missed him have a second chance. Tristan MacAvery is a master of all trades and jack of none. Published author (novels, collections, screenplays, articles, etc.), actor/improvist, director, trainer/coach, certified mediator, and reader of Tarot. Based in North Syracuse, NY, he is credited with being the original voice of Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion and has lended his voice talents to 30 or so other anime productions including Slayers, Dirty Pair, Battle Angel, Blue Seed and Street Fighter II the TV series. As a veteran comedy and improve actor, he will be available for signings and delivering his wisdom in various panel discussions.
Michael Brady
Michael Brady, an actor based out of North Carolina, fulfilled a lifelong dream of adding his voice to animation when he broke into the anime industry as a voice actor. He has been heard in such productions as Blue Submarine No. 6, Elf Princess Rane, Clamp School, as well as the title character in Crusher Joe. A fan of science fiction, fantasy, comic books, and animation, Michael eventually found himself no longer attending conventions as a fan, but participating as an industry professional. Talking with fans about voice acting, the anime industry in general, or his interests as a fan are some of his favorite things to do at a con, so his panels are always entertaining.
