What do you want to see at the 2010 Festival?

I really would like to see some voice actors and some funs games like cosplay contest, anime dating game, or anime human chess, stuff like that are always fun

I should probably ask this, but how old would one have to be to hold a panel? I myself know I can't but one of my friends is good with public speaking (and is overall more mature than me, both age and mental-wise) and she might be good for handling something like an Anime Dating Game or Guess That Anime Tune.

I would love to be apart of an Anime Dating Game. It was big at Tora-Con, and the space filled quickly, so I'm pretty sure it'd be popular at this convention as well.

Fffffffffffff I'm becoming a constant poster and critic at the same time.

While I know that we wouldn't be able to pull off as much as cons like Metrocon (Tampa, FL), I would like to see a selection of figurines. The mini cons in the past had a great selection of anime.... and maybe 15 or less figurines. I'd love to see more of a selection, and I hope vendors bring that too.

I think if AS had the amount of figurine vendors as Tora-con did, I would be satisfied. I wouldn't mind being able to purchase another One Piece P.O.P. figure at AS, even though they are hella-expensive.

Don't know how many other people are interested but what about a Asian Ball Jointed Doll panel and meet up? I just came back from Otakon and users from a doll web community had put together three meet up's which were complete successes. Also, it might draw others from the surrounding area's of Syracuse. The panel doesn't have to be anything extravagant and the meet up's would just need to be a room or area for a certain period of time.

Would you be able to get a panel? or something like that for a voice actor? like Vic mignogna? he does so many animes, so if you emailed him he said he'd be able to come.

We will be having panels, and are working on getting guests including voice actors. Unfortunately, Vic Mignogna is a little bit out of our price range, especially for our first large con, but we should have some names you will recognize. As soon as we have any definite confirmations, they will be listed on our website.

And although I want to enjoy the con to it's fullest, I might end up being a gopher if my mom agrees to be one too. But being a gopher has it's perks sometimes |D;;;

We'd need a couple people for this, but I recently went to Metrocon and went to a panel called The Vault.
One of the people running it would bring up a topic for people to talk about (such as 'Useless second seasons'), they'd voice their opinions, and then the audience would voice theirs via raising their hands. It was a lot of fun, plus you could rant about certain animes and characters without being beaten up by fans XD
